⚖️ 1. Acceptance & Corporate Identity
These Terms & Conditions constitute a legally binding electronic agreement between you ("Customer", "User", "You") and PeethMart Pvt Ltd, an incorporated company under the Companies Act, 2013, with its registered corporate office at Nashik, Maharashtra, India ("Company", "PeethMart", "we", "us").
By accessing or using our website (peethmart.in), ordering packaged food products, or submitting inquiries via our B2B or Export portals, you agree to be bound by these terms in compliance with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, the Information Technology Act, 2000, and the Indian Contract Act, 1872.
🌾 2. Nature of Platform & Packaged Products
PeethMart operates an inventory-led single-brand e-commerce and B2B food platform. We manufacture, process, and package premium food commodities including 0% Maida Millet Pasta, Traditional Breakfast Premixes, Heritage Flours, and Regional Condiments.
- 100% Vegetarian: All our packaged food items are 100% vegetarian, carrying the mandatory FSSAI Green Dot symbol.
- Retail Packaging: All retail consumer sales are sold strictly in sealed, tamper-evident consumer packaging (e.g., 250g, 500g, 1kg, 5kg). We do not provide loose/unpackaged chakki milling for online retail orders.
- Shelf Life & Storage: Each product pack displays the Manufacturing Date, Batch Number, and Best Before period. Consumers are advised to follow storage guidelines (cool, dry place, sealed container).
💳 3. Pricing, Taxes & Payment Terms
- Transparent Pricing: All prices displayed on consumer product listings are clearly demarcated with MRP (Maximum Retail Price), promotional Selling Price, and Unit Sale Price (USP) per gram or kilogram in compliance with the Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Rules.
- GST & Invoicing: Prices include applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST). A valid digital GST Tax Invoice is generated for every order.
- Payment Security: Online payments are processed through secure, RBI-authorized payment gateways supporting UPI (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM), Net Banking, Credit/Debit Cards, and Wallets. PeethMart does not store customer banking passwords or raw card numbers.
- Cash on Delivery (COD): COD may be available on select domestic pin codes subject to address verification.
📦 4. Order Acceptance, Dispatch & Cancellation
An order placed by a consumer constitutes an offer to purchase. PeethMart reserves the right to accept or decline an order in whole or in part in instances of:
- Unserviceable pin codes or unforeseen courier logistical constraints.
- Product unavailability or batch quality holds.
- Genuine typographical or pricing errors on the web application. In such rare events, any amount paid will be refunded 100% to the original payment source within 3–5 working days.
Consumers may cancel an order free of charge prior to its physical dispatch from our Nashik fulfillment center by contacting our support desk or via the live tracking portal. Once dispatched, cancellations are subject to our Return & Refund Policy.
🏢 5. B2B Wholesale & Export Inquiries
Institutional buyers, supermarkets, regional distributors, and international importers who utilize our B2B (`/b2b.html`) or Export (`/exports.html`) portals acknowledge:
- Confidential Quotations: Commercial rate cards, FOB/CIF international pricing, and bulk trade terms are confidential and released only post entity verification (valid GSTIN, FSSAI, or International Tax ID).
- Export Standards: International orders adhere to Incoterms 2020 rules, bilateral trade agreements, US FDA registration, APEDA certifications, and phytosanitary clearance protocols.
🛡️ 6. Intellectual Property Rights
All trademarks, trade names, logos, package designs, trade dress ("The Grain Flows On" motif), brand copywriting, photography, and software code on peethmart.in are the exclusive intellectual property of PeethMart Pvt Ltd. Unauthorized reproduction, scraping, reverse-engineering, or commercial exploitation is strictly prohibited under the Copyright Act, 1957 and Trade Marks Act, 1999.
🏛️ 7. Dispute Resolution & Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the substantive laws of the Republic of India. In the event of any dispute or controversy arising out of or related to these Terms, the parties shall first make good-faith efforts to resolve the dispute amicably through our Grievance Officer. If unresolved, the exclusive jurisdiction shall lie with the competent courts of Nashik, Maharashtra, India.
